Love Eggnog, but want a healthier or raw version??

Eggless Nog

21/2 cups almonds soaked overnight or a couple of hours (or brazil nuts)

4 dates

3 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 cups water

cinnamon

nutmeg

cloves to taste

Put all ingredients in your blender and blend up well.

Strain through nut bag and enjoy.

  1. Hi Jodi,
    I’m going to try this, and would recommend that you soak the almonds overnight (don’t have to do that with Brazil nuts) and use real vanilla bean if you can get it. Also, my sweetener preference is maple syrup (I know, not raw) and another is barley malt syrup, also not raw, but has a very earthy flavor that goes well in these kinds of drinks.

    My one word description is not a real word – but made up of two that seem to naturally work well together – blissticuted!

    Raw eating eliminates the need of reheating left overs! Much food I had comsumed in the past was microwaved!!! YUCK!

    So eager to try this Eggless Nog! Makes my mouth water!
