The New Year
I didn’t get this right out on New Years Day as I have been taking the time to really reflect and set my intentions for a new year. What are the possibilities, what do I really want to create, how do I want to feel, how do I want to spend my time, how do I want to eat, what recipes do I want to create, what food habits I could still improve on, what foods could I let go of (like my morning Americano……..really!!) how could I or better yet when could I include some more yoga or exercise, where could I or where would I like to put my energy, who do I want to hang out with, where do I want to travel and with who and of course how would I like my business to grow and what kind of income would I like to create / have this year.
Remember anything is possible – one just needs to get clear on what it is, let go of attachment YET see it, feel it, believe it, live it as if it is already happening AND take action moving in that direction. Let go of figuring it out or the how’s and the doubts.
Getting clear, setting intentions is way different than New Year’s Resolutions – most people make the same top 10 every year but very few actually commit to them especially after January – change can be hard for some. Think back over the years and see if you have been making the same resolutions – you know, pay off the debt, earn more money, spend less, down size, lose weight, get into better shape – those seem to be the most common.
Write out a page or two , once you get really clear on your intentions of how living your life would be – describe it clearly, then read it, see it as you read it, feel it as you read it and start to take on that energy – read it each morning or evening or both or as often as possible if you choose or better yet just imagine it, feel it and take action – that will create the reality – just don’t ever give up or stop – your life, your living, your dreams are worth it!!
It may show up in a slightly different form than what you thought – but the energy of it will be there and you will know it!!
My wish for you is that 2015 will be YOUR Best Year Yet – I know that it is going to be mine for sure!!
Namaste
