It’s Been a Year!!
Wow – It’s been a year!!
It was 1 year ago today I arrived in Mexico to do my first out of the country house sit.
I took the red eye out of Vancouver leaving behind snow and ice – first time I saw snow stay in Vancouver for more than a day or two – little did I know at that time the snow would only continue coming big time over the next few months.
Within my first 10 days of arriving in Mexico I had my birthday, had to put my dog down – while my best friend and father of my kids held the phone so I could talk to Spirit as he transition, then next my relationship of over 21/2 years came to an abrupt end.
It was like my Soul wanted growth with no distractions – I didn’t know a soul in Mexico, couldn’t speak the language and had a little dog and cat to look after.
Fast forward a year now and the growth, healing, experiences, people I’ve met, things I’ve done, the programming and ways of being and earning an income that I’ve let go of was nothing I was thinking was going to happen when I came to Mexico – yet I was open to new experiences………I need to be really clear from now on! 🙂
I realized I truly wasn’t on the right path……I still had deeper work to do, experiences to experience on my own, people to meet, projects to start and reignite, places to see and photograph, journeys to take and to become more aware of energies and programs I was still running that weren’t serving me.
I went to Cuba and walked over 100 miles in less than 8 days and have over 2000 images that I shot while there. I did Yoga teacher training, spent many hours doing Yoga and walking the beach meditating, participated in Temezcals (Mexican Sweat Lodges), created a Why We do Yoga book with over 60 Yogis on Amazon and did a lot of soul searching on my own.
In sharing all of that I want to extend a huge shout out to my friends that held space for me to process things and emotions – you know who you are, I am so eternally grateful and I love you!! Also had some amazing healers that helped me move thru things much faster – I love Energy Healing Modalities – all I can say is they work and work well. Alina and Kare did Emotion code with me – you can find out more about it here or watch the documentary E-motion. I did a Soul Retrevial with Jodi Parker who is someone I adore as she walks her talk and is very good at what she does –which is several things but you have to experience one of her sessions! Another person who I adore and is also very gifted at what she does is Sandra Wagman Sargeant – she has been reading for me for years and her readings are usually bang on! Wow what a year it’s been.
No it was not always fun – but yet oh so worth it!!!
I also have had many amazing moments as well!!
And I just got back from spending 6 weeks in Canada – not the right time of year I agree but it’s how timing works sometimes. I did some photo shoots for friends, my project, learn to connect with Spirit (no not my dog 🙂 but he did come in), saw many dear people (alive :)), released more of my stuff to truly becoming a nomad (and sad to say some people too yet it’s all good) – that happens when you just are not vibrating at the same level any longer.
It was cold oh so cold for me which makes me appreciate being back in Mexico even more so despite it being cold here right now too – it’s still warmer than Canada!! Lol
And I just started another house sitting gig with my original person – now it’s not 1 dog and cat it’s 3 adorable little dogs.
I feel so blessed to what has happened, is happening and what is coming in 2018.
Health and eating healthy will always be important to me, and I will always share as I do believe in superfoods (as you will see on my blog), live foods and more. I had the privilege of photographing Troy and Sharon with their domes and towers and I am getting some towers – I think everyone could use these towers – we need to be growing our own foods!! The info and link will be on my site soon if you want or know you should be growing your own food too!!
I’ve also dived into the crypto world big time – I have had Bitcoin for a couple of years and got educated on that big time but sat back – now I’ve jumped in much stronger and also highly encourage others to do so too!! Reach out if you have questions or don’t know where to begin!
Living outside the box is more important to me than ever before. My time in Canada and USA re-enforced that. The stress I see people under, the prices, the politics and more.
For me that is not truly living my highest potential – as that is not my path.
What is calling me more than ever, what is truly wanting to be expressed now is a deepening within my own self to my true potential of living life to the fullest and one of those things is expressing the creativity from within that I’ve kept hidden for a long time and breaking free from self limiting programming especially around emotional eating. I have always had a love for photography yet I put down my camera for many years – doesn’t matter now why but I did – and as you can see I have no ‘niche’ I enjoy capturing many moments……….just wait!! 🙂
2018 is going to be an amazing year.
I took a break from doing any posts as I was busy in Canada but also becoming much clearer on where I am headed and putting the final touches on my 21 Day Food & You program, with one more project in the works before I really dive back into the Raw, Naked and Beautiful project.
I know adventure, health, quantum physics, self love, art and photography are part of 2018 – and what I do love is working wherever I am as being the Sagg that I am my freedom is what is important to me.
How is 2018 looking for you?
Life is too short to be doing anything that does not bring you true joy and happiness.
We do create our lives – even when the shit hits the fan – it helps to show us who we aren’t or what no longer aligns with our true being – so take it as an opportunity for growth not to play the victim.
